London

Eurostar Channel Tunnel Train

London was the second stop on my first European adventure. We traveled from Paris to London aboard the Eurostar, which speeds beneath the English Channel. Departing from Gare du Nord and arriving at St. Pancras International, the journey takes just over two hours. At one point, the top of the Channel Tunnel lies about 100 meters (328 feet) below sea level—the deepest I’ve ever been. Outside the train, the scenery flashes by as we reached speeds of up to 334 km/h (208 mph), making it a thrilling and unforgettable introduction to England.

Traveling around London.
We didn’t need a car in London because, in my opinion, the best way to get around the city is by using the Tube. London’s subway system is extensive, fast, and surprisingly economical, making it easy to reach almost any neighborhood or attraction. We simply used our phones to tap in and out of stations, which made travel effortless, and we even rode the Tube all the way out to Heathrow when it was time to leave.
As with any major city, it’s important to stay vigilant, keep an eye on your belongings, and be aware of pickpockets and common scams, especially in busy stations and tourist-heavy areas.

Abbey Road

Abbey Road
"Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns. It calls me on and on across the universe" The Beatles
Visiting Abbey Road was a lifelong dream for me, as I’ve been a devoted Beatles fan for as long as I can remember. My father passed down his childhood albums, and I added countless more to my collection over the years. Standing outside the legendary Abbey Road Studios and crossing the iconic zebra-striped crosswalk from the Abbey Road album cover was an unforgettable experience.
I even got to leave my mark by signing the Abbey Road wall, a tradition where fans’ messages are painted over every few months, adding to the ever-changing tapestry of Beatles history.
Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds of London
Visiting Madame Tussauds London for the first time was an absolute thrill. I wandered through immersive exhibits, snapping photos with Stormtroopers and other Star Wars favorites, striking poses alongside Marvel superheroes, and sharing laughs with wax figures of Charlie Chaplin, Lil Nas X, and even President Obama. Each display felt incredibly lifelike, blending pop culture, history, and celebrity in a way that made every photo opportunity unforgettable.
From iconic film characters to legendary figures, the experience was a fun and memorable dive into the worlds of fame and imagination.
